After two years working at OPL, I am starting this blog for my (most current) OPL experience.
It is not easy to organize a library by one person, but it is not benefit students either to keep the library small because of lacking of staff. We are moving to a larger room for better services, including quiet study area and more computers! Everyone seems happy, but, a friend of mine reminded me about building/library shelving safety code. Yes, I know there are safety codes, but I don't need to consider it while working at other libraries because there are facility manger who would make sure everything is done with licensed professionals to ensure the library shelving space is safe. It doesn't happen to my current OPL and employer. Therefore, I sent a remind email to top mangers and would hope they will hire the licensed professionals.
The library is in the middle of moving, and hope this won't take too long to wait.
